Lydia Lucien
1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
My favorite sound is laughter. I live between two cultures, however no matter what language we speak, laughter is joyful in any language and seeing people happy brings joy to me as well.
2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I would love to be skilled in playing soccer. In Haiti, soccer is practically our national pastime and would love to be able to play more.
3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
I think the best habit I have is dreaming big dreams. My father especially has taught me that dreams are free and through hard work you can make them come true.
4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
Of course I make mistakes, everyone does. I think the key though is learning from your mistakes and allowing them to shape you into a better person.
5.What do you feel is the hardest job in the world and why?
My favorite type of food is Haitian rice. Whenever meals are being cooked in Haiti amazing smells permeate the atmosphere. I love the freshness, of all Haitian foods and spices and our rice is a great dish that captures them.
